Technical Details: Precision in Hiding
The depth of design in landscape sculpture lighting often lies in the “invisible” technical details.
“Crown of Rongyao” achieves a “light visible, lamp invisible” effect through an 8.5-meter-tall stainless steel structure.
All light sources are concealed, and a secondary-reflection optical design ensures uniform illumination.
The lighting is pure and even, with no direct glare. The “Xuerongxing” lights of the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The sculpture employs a woven spatial grid-shell structure, integrating the lighting fixtures with aluminum alloy members. Integration

Aesthetic presentation. The underlying logic shared by these cases is this: the more sophisticated the technology, the more the lighting fixture recedes into the background.
Field Dialogue: From the Individual to the Contextual Situation
The design of landscape sculpture lighting ultimately seeks to transform the experience from “illuminating the sculpture” to “activating it.”
The elevation of the “field.” At Chengdu SKP Plaza, the installation “Crown of Glory” features golden, radiating lights.
The crown echoes the “Shu Journey” theme, serving as a landmark node along the nighttime tour route; Jing’an Sculpture.
The park, through a sequence of alternating light and shadow, weaves the scattered sculptures into a continuous line.
At night, the narrative unfolds with the water’s reflection, the interplay of light cast by vegetation, and sculptural illumination serving as complementary backdrops.

It shines far more brilliantly, but the real question is whether it keeps the sculpture “present” even at night.
Should light be allowed to serve as an invisible bond connecting art, the environment, and humanity?
